Once you are approved, your money is sent by e-Transfer — evenings and weekends included.

From your phone or desktop. Connect your bank securely instead of scanning and faxing documents.

$14 per $100, and nothing else

That is Ontario's maximum total cost of borrowing. No application fee, no processing fee, no broker fee. Only a missed payment can add anything, and those charges are capped too.

All credit welcome

Approval is based on your income and banking history, not on your credit score alone.

Two days to change your mind

Cancel any payday loan by the end of the second day after you receive your agreement and your money, at no cost and for no stated reason. It is your right in Ontario.

Licensed and accountable

Ontario Payday Lender Licence 4741682, issued under the Payday Loans Act, 2008. Verify it with the Ministry any time.

Your rights

What Ontario Guarantees You

These apply to every payday loan in the province, from us or anyone else.

  • Cancel within two days

You may cancel a payday loan up to the end of the second day after you get your agreement and your money — or the next day we are open, if we are closed then — at no cost and without giving a reason.

  • Never more than 50% of your net pay

A single payday loan cannot advance you more than half your net pay for the period.

  • An extended payment plan

If this is your third payday loan within 63 days, you are entitled to repay it in instalments across at least three pay periods, with no extra fee for doing so.

  • Capped charges if something goes wrong

Default interest is capped at 2.5% per month, non-compounding, and a returned payment costs at most $20. There are no other default charges.

  • No rollovers

An Ontario lender may not lend you money to pay off an existing payday loan with them, or charge you to extend one.

  • Somewhere to complain

If you think a lender has broken these rules, contact the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery at (416) 326-6203 or CPOLicensing@Ontario.ca.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about what a payday loan costs, who qualifies, and what you are entitled to.

$14 for every $100 you borrow. That is the maximum total cost of borrowing allowed under the Payday Loans Act, 2008, and it is what we charge — there is no application fee, processing fee or broker fee on top. On $500 over 14 days the cost is $70, you repay $570, and the annual percentage rate is 365%.

Up to $1,500. Ontario also caps a single payday loan at 50% of your net pay for the period, so the amount you are offered depends on what you actually take home.

Approved applicants are paid by Interac e-Transfer, once you are approved and your agreement is signed, 24 hours a day including evenings and weekends.

No. Our payday lender licence is issued by Ontario and covers Ontario residents only. If you live elsewhere in Canada, you will need a lender licensed in your own province.

All credit is welcome. We look at your income and banking history rather than your credit score alone, so a low score does not rule you out on its own. Every application is assessed — no lender can guarantee approval.

You can cancel any Ontario payday loan by the end of the second business day at no cost and without giving a reason. Return the principal and you owe nothing further.

Contact us before your due date. Default interest is capped at 2.5% per month, non-compounding, and a returned payment costs at most $20 — there are no other default charges. If this is your third loan within 63 days you are entitled to an extended payment plan at no extra cost.
