INSTANT.CREDIT
Ontario residents

Apply Online, Up to $1,500

An instant application from your phone. A decision while you wait, and funds by Interac e-Transfer once you are approved.

All credit welcome — approval is based on your income and banking history.

You are applying to INSTANT.CREDIT S.E.C, a licensed payday lender in Ontario under the Payday Loans Act, 2008 — licence no. 4741682. We lend to Ontario residents only.

How it works

Three Steps to Your e-Transfer

No documents to fax, no storefront to visit, no appointment.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

The amount, when you are next paid, and how to reach you. Instant, on a phone.

  2. 2

    Connect your bank

A secure read-only connection confirms your income and banking history. We never see or store your online banking password.

  3. 3

    Get your funds

Approved applicants are sent their money by Interac e-Transfer, once you are approved and your agreement is signed — evenings and weekends included.

What you need to apply

Have these ready and the application is instant.

Government-issued photo ID
You photograph it during the application. Identity verification is a legal requirement, and it is not a credit check.
Your next pay date
Your loan cannot fall due before your next regular income date, so we need to know when that is.
Online access to your chequing account
A secure read-only connection confirms your income. Your banking credentials go to your bank, never to us.
The email or mobile for your e-Transfer
This is where your funds are sent once you are approved.

Before you start

These decide whether we can lend to you at all.

  • You live in Ontario. Our payday lender licence is issued by Ontario and covers Ontario residents only.
  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have regular income and know your next pay date.
  • You have an active Canadian chequing account in your own name that your income is paid into.
  • You can receive an Interac e-Transfer by email or text message.
  • You are asking for no more than half your net pay for the pay period — Ontario caps a payday loan advance at 50% of net pay.
  • Any earlier payday loan with us is fully repaid, and at least seven days have passed since you repaid it. Ontario requires that gap before we can lend to you again.

All credit welcome — approval is based on your income and banking history, not on your credit score alone. Every application is assessed, and not every application is approved.

Secure application

Your Application

Your details are submitted over an encrypted connection. It costs nothing to apply, and applying does not commit you to borrowing.

Loading your application…

Trouble loading the application? Call (514) 600-0924 or email support@instant.credit. Never send your banking password, and never send your full account number by email.

Before you sign

What You Are Entitled To

These apply to every payday loan in Ontario, from us or from anyone else.

  • Two business days to cancel

You may cancel by the end of the second business day, for no reason and at no cost. Return the advance and you owe nothing more. If we fail to give you a proper copy of your agreement, or fail to make your funds accessible within one hour of signing, that cancellation right never expires.

  • $14 per $100, and nothing else

That is Ontario's maximum total cost of borrowing, and it is what we charge. No application fee, no processing fee, no broker fee, no fee to receive your e-Transfer — any of those would breach the cap.

  • Never more than half your net pay

A single payday loan cannot advance you more than 50% of your net pay for the pay period, whatever amount you ask for.

  • Nothing is due before your next payday

Your loan cannot come due before your next regular income date, and the term cannot run longer than 62 days.

  • An extended payment plan

On a third or later payday loan with us within 63 days you are entitled to repay in instalments across at least three pay periods, at no extra charge, and you can end the plan at any time by paying the balance with no penalty.

  • No rollovers, and a seven-day gap

We may not lend you money to pay off an existing loan with us, or charge you to extend one, and we may not issue you a new payday loan until seven days after the previous one is paid in full.

Questions About Applying

What happens after you submit, and what it costs you to find out.

No. Applying is free and it does not commit you to taking a loan. The only amount you ever pay is the $14 per $100 cost of borrowing, on a loan you actually accept.

Most applicants get a decision as soon as you finish, at the end of the application. If something needs to be looked at manually we come back to you the same business day.

All credit is welcome. We assess your income and banking history rather than your credit score alone, so a low score does not rule you out by itself. No licensed lender can guarantee approval — every application is assessed.

The secure bank connection is how we confirm your income, and it is why we can pay you as quickly as we do. It is read-only: we see transactions, we can never move money, and we never see your banking password.

Up to $1,500, and never more than half your net pay for the pay period. The exact amount depends on the income and banking history we see.

No. Our payday lender licence is issued by Ontario and covers Ontario residents only. If you live in another province you will need a lender licensed there.

Cancel by the end of the second business day, at no cost and without giving a reason. Contact us and return the advance.
